Pastor Jonathan Schroeder is the son of Lowell and Judy Schroeder. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin. When he was eight years old, his family moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa with his older brother Christopher, older sister Heidi and younger brother Andrew.

Pastor Schroeder received a Lutheran education in grade school at Trinity Lutheran School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and then again at Concordia University -- River Forest, Illinois. He graduated from Concordia Seminary -- St. Louis, Missouri in May 1999, with a Master of Divinity degree. He was ordained July 18, 1999, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He served as a vicar at Faith Lutheran Church, Pierre, South Dakota from 1997 to 1998 and also served as Faith Lutheran Church, Grand Prairie Texas, as its sole Pastor from 1999 to 2006.

Pastor Schroeder enjoys following his favorite athletic teams: the Milwaukee Bucks, the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. He tries to exercise when he finds the opportunity. He loves Christian education -- especially working with children. His greatest goal is that his parishioners view Christ as not a part of life, but as their whole life (All they have and will have is because of His undeserved loved and all they do and will do is out of love for Him.).
